System selection is based on the "peak" rather than the "average" flow: moments such as machines filling at the same time or the start of a shift put the system under strain. In systems with storage, the investment is reduced by sizing the treatment unit for the average flow and the tank for the peak demand.
Flow Rate
Short definitionThe volume of water passing per unit of time; water treatment systems are sized in m³/h or L/min.
