Filtration is the least visible but most decisive stage of a treatment line. Retaining sediment, sand, silt and organic load at this point directly extends the life of the softening and membrane units downstream. A wrongly sized filter reduces the efficiency of the entire investment.
Our sand filtration units clean themselves by automatic backwashing, with no manual intervention. Activated carbon units remove chlorine, odour, taste and colour by adsorption; they are essential for membrane protection, especially in regions where the mains water is chlorinated.
Specially activated media are used to remove iron, manganese and arsenic. In these units, oxidation and filtration work together; for good efficiency, the filtration rate must be kept at 10 m/h or below. In low-pH water, remineralisation is carried out with a dolomite unit.
Tank shells are selected in composite or epoxy-coated steel, and control valves according to the facility's automation needs. After commissioning, the backwash frequency and media replacement interval are planned in writing according to your water analysis.
